FPX, LLC is searching for a customer centric Renewals Lead to help continue the momentum of our world-class offering and help manage our global customer base. The Renewals Lead will interact and build relationships with customers and internal partners to manage and own the renewals process for assigned accounts. The Renewals Lead will cover the entire base and not just those up for near-term renewals.

Description of Role

The Renewals Lead will drive renewals to completion and will work with management to develop a renewals strategy for every customer. The Renewals Lead will forecast and track renewal trends and will take ownership and maintenance of all renewal opportunities. The Renewals Lead should be customer focused and oriented and will strive to maintain high customer renewal rates.

The core responsibilities are:

  • Create relationships with the client sponsors and decision makers
  • Negotiate and drive to execution renewals & related documents
  • Enlist the efforts of internal parties (sales reps, customer success, and senior management) when necessary to expedite the contract renewal process and ensure customer happiness
  • When necessary, keep an eye towards problem solving in difficult situations and propose solutions to achieve renewal
  • Work with finance to: Accurately forecast renewals on a recurring basis
  • Secure PO’s and drive invoicing
  • Minimize past due scenarios by closely managing payment cycle. Keep client on track by timely communication to avoid any interruption in service
  • Maintain and update customer information in the CRM database
  • Establish and maintain relationships with client sponsor
  • Work collaboratively with all internal departments to ensure that effective, consistent communication is maintained

Characteristics of Successful Candidates

Successful candidates have the following background:

  • 5+ years of demonstrated success in a renewal or customer success role with a basic understanding of basic SaaS legal terms
  • Experience with SaaS model focused on enterprise and mid-market manufacturing companies
  • Customer centric & team player mindset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal (telephone) and written (email) communication skills as well as commercial negotiation experience
  • Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management Systems – MS Dynamics a plus
