FPX's powerful configuration engine uses business rules to create error-free product configuration. Pricing issues can be as complex as product configuration issues so the FPX configuration engine is built to handle not only complex product configuration but also the complex pricing configuration and calculation that goes along with it. This powerful pricing capability is now available to cloud developers as "Pricing as a $ervice" (Paa$) so they can integrate FPX technology into their own applications. Product data is prepared using FPX’s Product Data Manager, a data set is published to the Paa$ servers, and a Web Services API provides the interface between your application and the configuration engine.
