DOWNLOAD PDF Only Multi-Tenant is True SaaSYears ago, our engineers and design teams recognized that cloud computing would emerge as a stable, low-cost platform. The strategic decisions they made back then now allow our global enterprise clients to enjoy the business benefits of our advanced technology. CPaaS enables cloud developers to build custom applications that integrate the FPX’s world class, multi-tenant configuration engine. Product configuration is a critical part of any CRM suite—one that Gartner includes in their top six functional areas of successful CRM implementations.

FPX believes that this platform for application development by end-users, SIs and OEMs is a first in the Configure-Price-Quote® market delivered with deployment options necessary for business and IT groups. Sample applications include; quoting for direct sales, reseller and partner applications for pricing, order management and eCommerce applications for transaction to the business and consumer markets.

In addition, the CPaaS offering includes another valued application—FPX Product Data Manager—which provides the ability to build and manage the rules associated with product/price attributes to drive the desired behavior with the data. With FPX Product Data Manager, a data set is published to the CPaaS servers, and a Web Services API provides the interface between your application and the configuration engine.

CPaaS Web Services API

The CPaaS Web Services API provides access to your FPX configuration and pricing data and configuration engine functionality. The API uses the SOAP protocol and provides a set of generic methods that allow configuration-related activities to be performed. You can call the API from a number of client-side languages that support SOAP based web services.
